My first publication was in my towns local newspaper, the Clay County Progress. Two of my pictures from the 4th of July firework show were put in the paper! And one of them on the front page!!

the Nantahala Regional Library held a photography contest through its four branches. the theme of the contest was “ocean animals.” I won my age division at my library branch!
